Finally; I've updated Anya's profile. I took my farewell pic for ~mandalorianjedi's leave and cleaned it up a little. I could come up with something different but that would be later, it could also possibly change to a pic that’s unfinished that I randomly found.

Details

Before, Anya’s life was devoted purely to her family; from birth to death she would always put her family first. To this day she sends her family letters, with updates on her travels and stories for her little sister. In return she would receive the odd package from her sisters and parents together with money and supplies for her poisons.

Anya’s clan is purely devoted to the creation of poisons; with generations of immunities built into her bloodstream, she had previously aimed to succeed her parents along with her two sisters. However, by chance she had picked up an interest in the world of sword mastery, amazed by the skills shown to her by swordsmen and women who pass by their clan. Together with her clans skills in poisons and by the blacksmiths in her town she had a sword fashioned for her, the blade tinted black with the poisons that were applied.

Little by little her parents began to believe that she was not destined to succeed them, she soon spent more time practicing with her swords than learning their art. So, determined not to limit her to their will, they tried to convince her to take up her sword and travel as some of their clan had dreamed. At first she was hesitant, she loved her family and cared for her little sister and looked up to her elder sister. But eventually she was convinced, she set off to traverse differing towns and cities.

Free of any rules she lives her life as she pleases; often using her time looking for her life partner, only finding men who find her too upfront. And so before long she began to learn that she may not find her soul mate and put thought to settling down and making herself a living. She began to work in tea houses and saving the money she received from her parents and soon enough she founded a chain of tea houses and finally settled down.

It was by chance she began participating in the Samurai Duellers League, she saw the various battles taking place in the districts her tea house had been founded in. It was in this league that she first saw an opportune place to fine tune her sword fighting. And in the back of her mind, her passion for finding her life partner was set aflame again.

After a significant loss in the Samurai Duellers League she had come to a realisation on her way of life. She had seen that even though it is her heritage, her use of poisons clashed with the way of the sword she had learned before. She had always relied on her poisons, but even with them she lost. She then set to make amends and began to train again in the way of the sword. As a symbol of her devotion she re-forged her twin swords to create a single longer sword and purified it of its poison. Although in the end, she still decided that she wanted a reminder of her days in her clan. And so she created a dagger and reapplied the same method of poisoning that was used on the twin kaizen.

The poison has three separate ailments which occur randomly within its victims. The poison symptoms included; disruption of the senses, weakness of the muscles and illusions in the mind. The effects of the poison lasts for up to five minutes before wearing off, which usually is all that it takes to defeat her enemies. But the poison will not work again until twelve hours after initial intake. However the victim is still vulnerable to the advanced use of the poison which is the intake of the gas/smoke by product of the poison when it has been set alight by flame.

Few people know of this poison outside the clan. Those who do know of it have been said to have their souls devoured and sent to Naraku, lowest of the six paths of reincarnation, reserved for the most horrible of evils. The persons who have gone through this torture have never recovered.

Anyas’ fighting style involves the combination of her poisoned needles and her single handed blade. At times it may differ to using her poisoned dagger in place of her poisoned needles. Her style is based mainly on keeping her opponent engaged in combat, within her sash is a poison that dissolves into the air which swiftly slows down her opponents reflexes.

Overall; Anya boils down to being creative and carefree, Inquisitive and upfront.
